The Curiosity of Young Toddlers
Through our research on young toddlers around the world, we discovered a universal fascination with household objects. This innate curiosity drives them to explore and experiment, often imitating adults.
Our toys are designed to capture the essence of this curiosity, encouraging children to touch, explore, and imagine.
The Dilemma
When we interviewed parents from around the world about their little ones, we found a shared dilemma:
“Exploration is a sign of curiosity, so we'd like to encourage it as much as possible.”
“But it can be dangerous, so we can’t let them do whatever they want.”
Parents everywhere shared similar feelings of wanting to nurture their child’s shift from instinctive interest as babies to more curious exploration as toddlers.
What Are Toys That "Spark Curiosity"?
Toys with fixed ways of playing may inadvertently restrict curiosity at this stage.
To truly encourage curiosity, we believe that toys without “correct” ways to play are essential. They should draw out and string together moments of curiosity.
We hope our toys create many moments that spark their curiosity, and allow their inquisitive nature to thrive without limits.
